Play 9-Ball Pool Online
9-ball is the fast game of pool: nine balls, the lowest one first, and whoever pots the 9 wins the rack. On CueVerse you play it online against real people, free and in your browser — with push out, ball in hand and rated games, the way 9-ball is meant to be played.
9-ball in 30 seconds
- The rack: balls 1 to 9 in a diamond, the 1 at the front and the 9 in the middle.
- Lowest ball first: on every shot the cue ball must hit the lowest-numbered ball on the table first. After that, any ball can go in.
- Pot the 9 to win: at any time — even on the break or off a combination.
- Fouls: a scratch or a wrong first hit gives your opponent ball in hand anywhere on the table. Three fouls in a row loses the rack.
- Push out: on the shot right after the break you may push out instead, and your opponent chooses who shoots next.

How 9-ball plays on CueVerse
- The next ball is shown. The table always shows which ball you have to hit, so you never lose track of the order.
- Push Out is a button. When a push out is allowed, press Push Out before you shoot. Your opponent then gets the choice: play from there, or hand the shot back.
- Ball in hand. After a foul, drag the cue ball anywhere on the table before you shoot.
- Real spin. Draw, follow and side spin let you play position from ball to ball — the whole point of 9-ball.
