Billiards or pool — what's the difference?

Billiards is the name for every game played with a cue and balls on a cloth table. Pool is pocket billiards: the six-pocket games like 8-ball and 9-ball that most people mean when they say billiards. There are other kinds too — carom billiards has no pockets at all, and snooker uses a bigger table and 22 balls.

CueVerse plays pocket billiards. If you searched for "billiards", the games below are probably the ones you want.

Real billiards physics

Every shot is fully simulated, so the table behaves like a real one:

A billiards hall, not just a game

Most online billiards games put you in a match against a bot. CueVerse is a lobby: see every table in the room, sit down at an open seat, or watch a game in progress. Each table has text chat and voice chat, rated games move your rating, and every game is saved so you can watch it again shot by shot.
