Terms of Use

These are the rules for using CueVerse — the game, its app and its website. By playing, you agree to them. They sit beside our Privacy Policy, and, if you buy something on the website, our Terms of Sale.

Your account

• You must be 13 or older to play.
• Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what's done with your account.
• Pick a username that doesn't offend, and that doesn't pretend to be CueVerse staff or another player. We may change or remove a name that breaks these rules.
• Don't use extra accounts to boost ratings or leaderboard points, to get around a mute or a ban, or to pretend to be someone else.

Zero tolerance for abuse

CueVerse is for everyone. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive players. Don't:

• harass, bully, threaten or stalk anyone;
• post hate speech or slurs, or attack people for who they are;
• post sexual content, or anything that sexualises minors;
• spam, scam or advertise, or share anyone's personal information;
• cheat: aiming tools, bots, scripts, exploiting bugs, or fixing results with someone;
• pretend to be CueVerse staff or another player.

This covers everything you put in the game: lobby and table chat, voice chat, private messages, your username, challenge titles and anything else other players can see.

How we keep it safe

• Filters. Chat is filtered for swearing and slurs, and an automated moderation system that uses AI checks lobby chat.
• Report. Press and hold a chat message (on a phone) or right-click it (on a computer), or open a player's profile, and choose Report. Moderators review reports, usually within a day.
• Block. Block any player from their profile or from your messages: you won't see their chat or get their messages.
• What happens. We may remove content, and mute, suspend or permanently ban an account that breaks these rules, with or without a warning. Serious cases may be passed to the authorities.

What you post

• You're responsible for what you post. You keep any rights you have in it, and you let us show it in the game and keep it as the Privacy Policy describes, so the game can work.
• Games are recorded as replays, and shared replays show the players' usernames.

Fair play

Ratings, leaderboards, trophies and prizes are part of the fun. We may correct results that cheating, rating farming or a bug decided, and take back anything won that way.

The service

• CueVerse is free to play and provided as it is. We work to keep it running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change or end features.
• Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law.

Ending

• You can delete your account at any time, in the game.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Changes

If these terms change, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Big changes will be announced in the game or on our Discord.
