Press Create Table, pick Straight Pool and press Start; the table's Rules button explains everything, any time. Press Start Game and, before your first shot, drag the cue ball and the break ball anywhere you like.

Every shot is called. Click a pocket and it calls the ball you're aiming at; for a bank, combination or carom, click the ball first, then the pocket. Make the called ball for a point, and every other ball that drops on that shot counts too. When one ball is left, the other fourteen are racked again and the run goes on.

Need a break? Pause Run saves the run for up to a week, and Start Game picks it up again. A miss, a scratch or a shot that hits no ball ends the run, and there's no shot clock, so take your time.

Your best runs go on the High Run board, for this week and all time. The week's best run wins the Inferno trophy cue and the all-time record wins Cosmos, and when someone takes the top spot the whole lobby hears about it.

Step by step

Making a Straight Pool table

Straight Pool is pool for one. Call every shot, and see how long your run can go. Press Create Table, pick Straight Pool, and press Start. The Rules button explains everything, any time.

Calling your shots

Press Start Game. Before your first shot, drag the cue ball and the break ball anywhere you like. Every shot is called. Click a pocket, and it calls the ball you're aiming at. For a bank or a combination, click the ball first, then the pocket.

Points and the re-rack

Make the called ball for a point. Every other ball that drops on that shot counts too. When one ball is left, the other fourteen are racked again, and the run goes on.

Pausing and ending a run

Need a break? Pause the run. It waits up to a week, and Start Game picks it up again. A miss, a scratch, or a shot that hits no ball ends the run. There's no shot clock, so take your time.

The High Run board

Your best runs go on the High Run board, for this week and all time. The week's best run wins Inferno, and the all-time record wins Cosmos. Take the top spot, and the whole lobby hears about it. Start your run at cueverse.gg.
