Intro: choosing a game mode
CueVerse plays more than plain eight-ball. Here are the game modes, each one a twist on the rules. Click Create Table, pick eight-ball, then choose a game mode. Each card's info button opens that mode's full rules.
4 Pockets and Rails Required
Four Pockets: only the four corner pockets count. Rails Required: after the cue ball hits, a ball must reach a cushion or drop, or it's a foul.
Bank 8 and Bank It All
Single, Double and Triple Bank Eight: the eight must be banked once, twice, or three times. Bank It All: every ball you pot has to be banked.
Call Every Pocket and Last Pocket
Call Every Pocket: call a pocket before every shot, and pot one of your balls there to keep shooting. Last Pocket: the eight must drop in the same pocket as your last ball.
One Pocket, Cutthroat and Boot 'Em
One Pocket: you each own one corner pocket. First to eight balls in yours wins. For a crowd, there's Cutthroat for three players, and Boot 'Em for up to sixteen. When the game starts, a card sums up the mode's rules. Pick your twist at cueverse.gg.
